Concrete/Foundation Work for Your Building Project

Our Concrete Partnership Approach

  • All concrete work is handled by our licensed and insured partner providers
  • You’ll pay the concrete provider directly for their services
  • We coordinate with our partners to get you the best possible rates
  • Pricing is calculated per square foot for both labor and materials

How Concrete Prices are Determined

  1. Square footage of the area
  2. Price per square foot (includes labor and materials)
  3. Additional dirt work pricing as needed

*Concrete provider quotes are accepted as part of your total garage project cost with any financing option, allowing customers to finance both foundation and building together*

How to Calculate YOUR Concrete Area

For accurate estimates, we add 6 inches to both the width and length of your building to account for the skirt/apron that surrounds the structure:

Above Example: For a 24×30 building, the concrete foundation with the required 6-inch skirt/apron would measure 24.5×30.5 feet, totaling 747.25 square feet and costing $7,472.50 at $10 per square foot.

This extra 0.5 feet on each dimension creates the protective skirt/apron around your building.

Timing Options for Concrete Work

Option 1: Before Installation (Recommended)

Having concrete poured before building installation offers several advantages:

  • Creates a proper drainage system
  • Provides a stable, level foundation for your building
  • Includes a 6-inch skirt/apron around the structure for improved appearance and performance
  • Simplifies the installation process

Option 2: After Installation

Some customers choose to install the building first and add concrete later:

  • Allows for faster building setup
  • Can be done, but with important considerations

*Important Notes About Post-Installation Concrete*

  1. The warranty remains valid as long as you don’t remove and re-anchor the building
  2. You won’t have the 6-inch skirt/apron around the building
  3. Pouring concrete after installation is more challenging
  4. Drainage issues may occur without proper planning
  5. The finished appearance typically isn’t as polished
