Andres brings firsthand experience with metal building living to his role at Metal America. “During my college years, I had the wonderful opportunity to live in a barndominium. Once I found out I was able to give the opportunity to others to experience something like that, I just knew I had to be a part of that,” he shares. This personal connection to the product gives him authentic insight into the benefits and possibilities of metal buildings, allowing him to guide customers from a place of genuine understanding.
Currently pursuing an Engineering degree at Oklahoma State University where he’s entering his senior year, Andres combines academic knowledge with practical industry experience. Being born and raised in Houston, Texas, he notes that “the oil and gas industry has shaped me into the professional I am today,” reflecting the influence of his regional industrial background on his work ethic and technical understanding.
When helping customers find their ideal metal building, Andres takes a collaborative, visual approach. “Metal America has a wonderful/extensive gallery that I recommend clients to visit. Once they visit the website, I work with the client and put all of their favorite characteristics into one build!” This methodology allows customers to see possibilities they might not have considered and creates a customized solution that truly reflects their preferences and needs.
Outside of work, Andres maintains an active lifestyle centered around outdoor activities and sports. “I’m all about Pickleball and Golf!” he enthusiastically shares. His hobbies of “Hunting, Fishing, and Golf” not only provide personal enjoyment but also create opportunities to connect with potential clients who share similar interests. These natural networking settings allow for relaxed, authentic conversations about building needs and possibilities.
Andres values “Honesty, confidence, and knowledge” as the most important qualities in sales, principles that guide his customer interactions. With unique personal touches—he enjoys singing karaoke and “can dunk in a 9 1/2ft rim”—and a passion for wildlife management and conservation, Andres brings a well-rounded perspective to his work. His favorite aspect of sales at Metal America is “the opportunity to meet great people and help them move into their dream buildings,” reflecting his genuine enthusiasm for connecting people with solutions that enhance their lives.
