Financing – Metal America

Financing

Local Banking Solutions

We typically recommend working with your local community bank or credit union for financing options. They understand the local market and may offer competitive rates for your metal building project.

Recommended Approach: Consider approaching the bank that holds your home mortgage. Many customers successfully add their metal building to their existing mortgage, which can be a straightforward solution with favorable terms.

Using Your Home’s Value

  • Home Equity Loan: A one-time loan with fixed payments. Like a second mortgage
  • Home Equity Line of Credit (HELOC): A Flexible credit line. Borrow only what you need, when needed
  • Cash-Out Refinance: Replace current mortgage with larger one, take difference as cash

Payment Options

At Metal America, we offer flexible payment options to make acquiring your new metal building as convenient as possible. We accept a wide range of payment methods to accommodate your preferences:

  • Cash
  • Check
  • Wire transfer
  • Bank transfer
  • Credit cards
  • Klarna
  • Apple Pay
  • Google Pay
  • Cash App
  • Amazon Pay

We also offer Rent-To-Own options! Read more about them here on our Rent-To-Own page.

Payment Process

All building purchases require a deposit upfront to secure your order and begin the manufacturing process. The remaining balance can be paid upon installation, or you may choose to pay the full amount upfront.

Construction Loans

Traditional construction loans are available for qualified buyers. Please note these important requirements:

  • A licensed General Contractor must be part of the agreement
  • You must own the land where the building will be installed
  • Credit score verification is required

Documentation Support

If your bank requests additional documentation:

  • We can provide site plans or generic drawings upon request
  • General Contractor (GC) license requirements must be fulfilled through your GC
